Lorne Boulet - July 29, 2001 - NH
« Thread started on: Sep 10th, 2004, 6:58pm » |
|
Lorne Boulet is a now 24 year old, missing Chichester, NH man living with Schizophrenia. On July 29, 2001, Lorne left for a walk, around 5:30 PM and never returned home. He was not carrying any identification, cell phone, wallet, nor money. These are things that he always had with him.
Lorne is a 5'10", 220 pound, white male. He has a small scar over each eye brow and one in the center of his forehead. He is missing his top, left, front tooth, his left ear is pierced, and he has a partial tribal ban tattoo on his right bicep.

I am planning to hold a balloon release on September 26 (if all goes as planned). This is going to be called, "Lead Lorne Home".
We will be letting go of atleast 165 balloons. This # represents the number of weeks that Lorne will be missing.
I hope to get so media coverage for this event.
I will have info out on other missing person's cases if anyone should want to send something to me.
As Always, FindLorne

Louise,
I think this sounds like a great idea. If you need help making anything for this day, let me know ok? Also, make sure you post us all links or areas that cover this day. I'd like to see you post some pictures on this thread too.

Walking Them Home.... A way to get your loved ones
« Reply #5 on: Sep 13th, 2004, 6:09pm » |

I hope you will participate! This will spread the word for so many families!
WALKING THEM HOME
This is an event that promotes physical fitness as well as awareness for the missing. This is not an organized walk-a-thon, but an event that any and every one can take part in.
As of October 15, 2004, Lorne Boulet of Chichester, NH will be missing for 1,173 days.
~ On July 29, 2001, Lorne, then 21, waved bye to his parents as he headed out for his evening walk. He took no personal items and there was no need for alarm, until Lorne did NOT return. Lorne suffers from Schizophrenia.
How this works: To participate in “Walking Them Home”, a personal walk plan, you walk at your pace and distance, from October 15 to December 4, to total 1,173 minutes. This would average 23 minutes a day, whether it is walking at work, school, shopping, doing housework, or just going out for a stroll. You walk where you want, when you want, and for how long you want. Just know that YOU are making a difference!
Registration: To receive your “Walking Them Home” t-shirt, there is a $15.00 registration fee (S & H included). All participants will need to register before October 15, 2004 and all of the entry fees will need to be mailed to the Lorne Boulet Reward/Donation Fund. This will need to be post marked by October 29, 2004 at the latest.
** This will ensure the correct number of shirts that will be ordered **
Reason for this walk: Lorne’s REWARD is temporary. We need to raise the funds to keep his reward at $5,000.00. A portion of all registrations will go towards raising this reward money as well as bringing awareness to other missing person’s.
Do you know of a missing person whose website you would like printed on the back of these shirts at NO extra cost to you Let me know, and it will be done!
How to register and where to send the entry fee: You can register by e-mailing your name to … findlorne@yahoo.com Please add “registration” in the subject so your e-mail is not considered as spam. Entry fees are to be mailed to the … Lorne Boulet Reward/Donation Fund P.O. Box 426 Bristol, NH 03222-0426
To all that participate in this walk, we want to thank you in advance for helping us raise the money for Lorne’s reward and for also helping raise awareness for other missing person’s. This is something that affects so many lives and has touched so many hearts.
Let’s WALK THEM HOME!
With Much Appreciation, The Family & Friends of Lorne Boulet www.findlorne.faithweb.com findlorne@yahoo.com

The registration date has been extended until October 15 and the deadline for the entry fee is October 29.
Visit Lorne's website... www.findlorne.faithweb.com for information on the Pay Pal account set up for this event. You can find that information on the "Walking Them Home" page of his website.
I hope you are able to participate in this event. PLEASE, if you have a missing person's website that you would like to have added to the back of the shirt, let me know and that can be done.
Thanks!

Louise,
I hope you dont mind me doing this. I put a special page up on the front of Carrie's website to show this new event you are having. Maybe this will catch everyone's eye and bring some folks in?
That was a very sweet picture for Lorne. I wanted to show it everybody.
