The interview lasted over an hour. She took Lorne's parents number to see if they wanted to add anything.
I am not sure when the article will be out, but I will post it when it is.
Thanks for all the support.

Family marks anniversary of Chichester manís disappearance
By STEFANIE PHILLIPS

Newfound Area Bureau

BRISTOL ó Anniversaries usually reflect a happy time and a day to remember, but for one family, Jan. 29 marks the 3Ĺ year anniversary of the disappearance of a loved one.

"Not all anniversaries are good anniversaries," said Louise Holmburg, aunt of Lorne Boulet, who has been missing since July 29, 2001. "Itís hard for people to realize that a man disappeared."

Boulet disappeared from his home in Chichester on the evening of July 29. He went out for his daily walk and never returned home, though he left all personal belongings, including his wallet, cell phone and forms of identification. Boulet was diagnosed with schizophrenia in the months leading up to his disappearance and his family fears that he may have become disoriented. Holmburg said that he may not realize that his family is worried about him.

Holmburg has not given up hope, devoting the majority of her hours to contacting police departments, hospitals and homeless shelters across the country and said that she wonít stop until she reaches every state. She has set up a Web site devoted to Boulet and has joined several organizations in an attempt to get Bouletís name and picture to the public. Priscilla Istvan helps her file letters, print up fliers and address envelopes.

Holmburg has become involved in several events. She organized "Walking Them Home," a walk for missing persons in October. On April 2, she, along with will Bouletís parents, Evelyn and Lorne Boulet Sr. of Chichester, plans to attend the National Round Table Conference for missing person organizations in Wilmington, N.C. She also plans to attend the fourth annual Missing Persons Day in Latham, N.Y. She is hoping that Bouletís picture will appear on Racing West driver Darrell LaMoureís race car hood this summer.

"If we donít find him, I hope wherever he is, he is safe and happy," Holmburg said, adding Boulet was very close with her sons. "When itís time for Lorne to come home, he will. I just want him home now."

Holmburgís Web site can be viewed at www.findlorne.faithweb.com. A reward for the exact location of Boulet is being offered and any information can be directed to the Chichester Police Department at 798-4911.

Louise,

I take it this is the interview you did the other day? I want you to know I'm proud of you. I like seeing these articles about Lorne popping up more often. This is how we get people to see him and bring him home.

I agree about this being how the missing being seen (to the public) however this is only one of 4 papers and I also wrote to 2 news channels.
It is hard when they will not cover the story.

I won't stop trying though. Will be writing to them again tonight. Maybe they will get tired of me... wink

On Wednesday, February 9th, some family members of Lorne will be going to Haverhill, NH to show support to the Maura Murray family.

This day will mark the 1 year disappearance for Maura, and her family will be gathering at the site of the accident, where Maura's car was found.

My 9 & 11 year old son's will be making a card to give to Maura's family, and want me to extend this opportunity to all of you...

Any and Every One that would like to send their thoughts, prayers, wishes, etc., e-mail them to findlorne@yahoo.com and they will be printed on color printer paper, cut out, and will be used to decorate the "large" card.
Please be sure to add you name, signature, and/or e-mail address - so the Murray family will know who you are.

A standard card (Thinking of you during this time...) will also be given to them. We will try to get as many friends and family members of Lorne's to sign this.

Louise, I cannot get a card to you by tomorrow, but i will tell you that I would like for you to send this family a msg. on behalf of the Culberson group and my thing (Angel Garden of Hope).

Please let them know that our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time and I we are thinking of Maura always. If you have address for them, maybe PM me or email me. We'll send a proper card to them if there is one available.

We will be recognizing Maura tomorrow as it will be the one year anniversary since she vanished.

I want ALL of these missing people home. Please send us a photo or something of the gathering if you can.

Thanks for all you've done and continue to do for these missing ppl.

Here is a copy of what I posted on Maura's thread...

Today my family headed north to show support to Mauraís family. This is a very difficult day for them, as everyday is, but today marks the one year anniversary of Mauraís disappearance.

This journey was shared with my sonís, a neighbor, and myself.

We were late as we could not find our way, however, as the old adage goesÖ
Better late then never.

I had the honor of meeting and speaking with some of Mauraís family. They are wonderful people. I pray that this is the last anniversary marker they need to encounter.

The card that we made (large with a photo of Maura on the front & ribbons as the binder) opened to the thoughts and prayers of many.

Thank you EVERYONE that sent me the e-mails to be printed and added to the card. Thank you EVERYONE that has thought and prayed for the Murray family.

I am praying for the return on my nephew and all that is missing. The unanswered questions make everyday a challenge, yet these same issues push us to do more.
We need to keep the strength and courage alive in order to fight this battle.

I have just received word that Lorne will be featured in the next issue of The Missing Voice.

This is a newsletter put out by the National Center for Missing Adults.

Lorne's will be featured as a missing person affected by Schizophrenia. He (photo & story) will be on the front cover and go all around the country to over 3,000 persons.

I would like to thank The Missing Voice for helping in Lorne's search.

Louise,
I look forward to reading that article about Lorne. I'd also like to see the one you were telling me that Child Seek did a while back. I think these are very important to get the word out about Lorne.

I am planning a Birthday Vigil for Lorne. This will be held on March 26th.

I feel very weird asking this, but if anyone would like to contribute thoughts and/or prayers to Lorne's family so that I can present them with a card, you can e-mail me directly at findlorne@yahoo.com.

Lorne is an only child, so this will be handed to his parents. I know that they can use any well wishes you may have.
I do the leg work, via the computer, so Lorne's parents have not had the honor of meeting all of the wonderful people that I have met.

Well, just thought that I would let you all know about (and take part in) the upcoming event.

Hugs to you ALL!

Louise,
I will be participating in this for sure. I will send the standard card we send out anyway but I will send a written note as well that you can tape to the large card. I want them to know that we do care about Lorne.
