xx Patricia Viola - Feb. 13, 2001 - NJ
« Thread started on: Sep 10th, 2004, 1:16pm »

Exerpt from Patricia Viola's Website:
On Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2001, Patricia seemingly walked away from her life. But, where did she go and who did she speak to? Did she met up with trouble or have a seizure as a result of her epilepsy? Did she end up a hospital or similar facility around that time? Did she get into a car in front of our home on Chestnut Ave., Bogota, NJ? Was she picked up by a taxi or board a bus? Remember, Pat did not have access to a car that day. We have lot of questions, but still no answers.

We know it was a long time ago and everyone's memory may be fading. Let me give you some time sensitive reminders. It was Feb. 13, 2001, the day before Valentines Day. About three weeks earlier the New York Football Giants were defeated by the Baltimore Ravens in Super Bowl XXXV. President George W. Bush was recently inaugurated as our new President. The news was reporting about the first analysis of the human genome and a United States Nuclear submarine collided with a Japanese fishing vesssel off the coast of Hawaii. Please try to reconstruct where you were and what you were doing that day. From what we know, it looks as if Pat left our Chestnut Ave. residence between 1 PM and 2:30 PM on the afternoon of 2/13/01. You may have seen Pat. If so, PLEASE call the Bogota Police at 201-487-2400. They (and we) are waiting to hear from you.

Family still clings to hope for missing mom's return
Wednesday, December 22, 2004

BOGOTA - He still talks about her in the present tense, as if his wife of 18 years took a quick walk and would return at any moment.

The reality is that Patricia Viola stepped out nearly four years ago and has not been seen since that February afternoon. Then 42, the mother of two left behind a puzzling mystery that has stumped her family and investigators.

Still, Viola's husband and two children cling to the hope that she eventually will be found alive and safe.

Continuing his efforts to spread the message - and, he hopes, find more concrete clues - Jim Viola said the family is kicking off two nationwide campaigns this month to raise awareness about the baffling disappearance.

Under a project called "18-Wheel Angels," truck drivers and business travelers throughout the country will be hanging fliers and posters of Patricia Viola on routes they travel. The locator program is assembled by a non-profit group called Project Jason.

Project Jason also has added Viola to its adopt-a-missing-person program. Under the project, someone can ask for information on Viola, or other missing persons, and will wear her photo button and share her story with others.

Project Jason is a non-profit organization designed to raise awareness about missing people. It is named after Jason Jolkowski, who was 19 when he disappeared from in front of his Omaha home on June 13, 2001.

Viola vanished Feb. 13, 2001, leaving behind her belongings, including her epilepsy medication. Earlier, she had gone to volunteer at a nearby library and called her mother.

"It's basically my opinion that we need the right person to see Pat's face," said Jim Viola. "It could be that she is in a hospital somewhere, maybe someone is taking care of her. But you don't know who will be that person who will help you."

"If we don't keep Pat's face out there, the story is just going to fade away," Viola said.

For more information on Project Jason, call founder Kelly Jolkowski at (402) 932-0095, or visit the Web site at projectjason.org.

This was sent in by Jim Viola. Please read his message and watch the video regarding Pat.

Hi everyone,
Last Thursday morning, 2/10/05, I had an TV interview on News12 NJ and the clip appeared several times
throughout that evening. It was shorter than I hoped (45 sec.), but I was happy for something. They omitted
the videos I gave them so I overlayed videos of Pat in the upper right hand corner of the news cast clip and
also added some titles. Please pass the word about it. It is around 2 MB in size.

Thank you Jill for initiating this thread for my Patricia. This is indeed a tough day for us as we remember hour by hour what was going on that day. We plan on going to church like our normal Sunday and say some extra prayers for Pat and all of the missing.

Pat, if you are out there, we love and miss you so much.

With all or Love,
Jim, Christine and Michael Viola

Hi everyone again,
On Monday afternoon, 2/14/05, I had an TV interview on WCBS2 and the clip appeared at 11 PM that

"Broken Heart
By Jim Viola

Our hearts came together during a job interview

The courtship that followed was not out of the blue

The attraction was immediate and mutual too

The eventual wedlock was heaven to me and you

The memories were built as we shared our lives

Our children arrived early and oh what a delight

In Christine and Michael I see mirrors of you

To have a beautiful family and you at my side

My sweet Patricia I love you so

I felt so blessed as we enjoyed our sweet life

From the Jersey Shore to Disney to Shawnee and more

To be so much in love and be without a fear

And then have it disappear is too much to bear

Our hearts are now broken and our guts ache so

Not knowing where you are or if you were forced to go

The pain is so great as the tears start to flow

We must keep on going and looking for answers

They say it's God's plan but still I ask why

It's hope that we have and with all the support

Our confidence is high

You'll be back soon at our home port"

One way to help out in locating Patricia Viola and many other missing loved ones would be to Adopt them through the "Adopt a Missing Person Program". If you participate, you will receive a button and an information card in order to get to know the person you adopt at a personal level. This excellent program was created by Project Jason and has been very rewarding so far for all the participants.

See link below:

http://www.projectjason.org/adopt.html

Thank and god bless.

Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a very nice article (blog) that my good friend, Kelly Jolkowski, Mother of Missing Jason Jolkowski President and Founder, Project Jason, http://www.projectjason.org, put together to help increase to awareness to my wife, Patricia's, disappearance and for many other missing persons.

The direct link to Patricia's story is: http://voice4themissing.blogspot.com/2005/09/9705-reluctant-mr-mom.html
Please share this link with everyone you know.

The general link to all the blogs that Kelly has created can be found at the following link "Voice for the Missing" at http://voice4themissing.blogspot.com/

Thank you Kelly for all your efforts !

Thank you everyone for taking the time to read about Patricia.

Also, just a reminder about the new Message Forum for Patricia Viola. Friends,
This very important subject demands everyone's attention. As missing persons have reached the
epidemic stage, a National Missing Persons Day is essential.

Please read the information enclosed by Doug and Mary Lyall, who are missing their daughter Suzanne,
since March 2, 1998, (http://patriciaviolamissing.homestead.com/files/Suzanne_Gloria_Lyall_Video.wmv)
contact your congressman using the web link below and use the attached sample letter to get them
to co-sponsor the proposed bill, HR 189. If you need to locate your congressman, you can go to http://www.house.gov/ and plug in your zip code.

For more information about Missing Person proposed bills, go to http://thomas.loc.gov/ and search for,
missing, to find this Bill and many others in need of support. You can also use that web site to see who
has signed on so far as a co-sponsor.

Thanks
Jim Viola
