xx Missing Georgia Woman Patrice Endres' Poster ...

Omaha, NE -- You would move Heaven and Earth to find her: A vibrant young mother whose beaming smile and sparkling eyes, so full of life, demand your attention. The caption above her photo simply states: MISSING.

She is Patrice Tamber Endres, of Cumming, GA, missing since April 15th.

It is not such a simple matter for her family and friends, who are doing everything they can to find her, as their hearts are breaking as they fear for the well-being and safety of Patrice.

Strangers across the country are helping the family in many ways, and now some of the country’s best natural networkers, truck drivers, are going to help move Heaven and Earth to find the young woman by their participation in the 18 Wheel Angels program.

18 Wheel Angels is a national missing person’s locator program spearheaded by nonprofit organization Project Jason. The program enlists the aid of truck drivers and business travelers to place posters of missing persons along their routes as they travel across the country. A different missing person is featured every 2 weeks. Participants are asked to go to the 18 Wheel Angels link on the Project Jason website at www.projectjason.org, and to then download and print as many posters as they can place. Anyone can participate.

Patrice Endres’ campaign began on September 16th and will run through September.

In addition to the 18 Wheel Angels campaign, Project Jason had added Patrice to their Adopt a Missing Person program. Patrice’s family sent buttons to the organization to have available for people across the country to mail in and request. The compassionate person who adopts Patrice will also be mailed an info card, which contains a bio and personal information about Patrice. Whoever adopts Patrice will wear her button and share her story with others. As awareness is key in missing person’s cases, it is important for Patrice’s face to be seen so that she can be found and reunited with her family. A special link can be found on the Project Jason website for additional information about this unique program.

Project Jason was founded by Kelly Jolkowski, mother of missing Omaha, NE youth Jason Jolkowski. The all volunteer group’s mission is to create and increase public awareness of missing people through a variety of outreach and educational activities. Project Jason seeks to bring hope and assistance to families of the missing by providing resources and support.

About the Case
Patrice Tamber Endres, 38, has been missing since April 15th. She runs the Tamber's Trim-N-Tan hair salon in Cumming Georgia, where she was last seen helping a customer at about 11:35 AM. Her co-workers reported her missing 10 minutes later. Endres' car and purse were left behind, but her wallet was missing as well as the salon's cash, Forsyth County Sheriff Ted Paxton said. Patrice is a 5’4” and weighs 125 pounds with dark shoulder length hair and red highlights. She may change the length or color of her hair. She was last seen wearing a pink short-sleeved shirt, green pants, pink shoes and a green jacket. Her family has posted a $17,000 reward for information leading to her whereabouts. They are anxiously waiting for her to come home.

For additional information about the 18 Wheel Angels or the Adopt a Missing Person program, and Project Jason, please see the website at www.projectjason.org, or contact President and Founder, Kelly Jolkowski, at 402-932-0095. You may also email 18WheelAngels@projectjason.org.

xx Arrest in Alabama could be linked to missing lady
« Reply #17 on: Oct 12th, 2004, 06:47am »

There may be a link between a man arrested for murder last month in Mobile, Ala., and the unsolved disappearance of Forsyth County hairdresser Patrice Endres, Forsyth County Sheriff Ted Paxton said.

Detectives are conducting a background investigation of Jeremy Brian Jones, 31. "When Patrice went missing he was living in Douglasville," Paxton said, adding that he was cautious about naming Jones as a suspect.

Endres, 38, operated Tamber's Trim-N-Tan hair salon on Ga. 369 in northern Forsyth, where she last was seen April 15.

Investigators have probed hundreds of leads in five months, and the sheriff's office cooperated with the television show, "America's Most Wanted" when a crew came to film an upcoming episode.

Sheriff's Capt. Ron Freeman said there isn't anything currently that makes Jones a "true suspect."

Paxton said Jones was arrested as the prime suspect in the murder of a 44-year-old woman in Alabama.

Paxton said Jones also is the suspect in another homicide in Escambia County, Ala.

All but one of the missing or murdered women who authorities suspect Jones had contact with are in Endres' age bracket and have dark hair.

"Does that mean anything? I don't know," Paxton said.

xx Alabama Article - Jones Looked @ In Forsyth Case
« Reply #19 on: Oct 14th, 2004, 06:54am »

Georgia authorities are investigating a possible link between a woman missing from Forsyth County, Ga., since April and a suspected serial killer being held at Mobile County Metro Jail on capital murder charges.

Jeremy Bryan Jones, 31, of Miami, Okla., is charged with the Sept. 18 rape and shooting death of Lisa Nichols at her Turnerville mobile home. He was arrested three days after the burned body was discovered.

Paul Burch, a homicide investigator with the Mobile County Sheriff's Department, said Jones has confessed to slaying Nichols.

Detective Jason Burndrett of the Forsyth County Sheriff's Department said Wednesday that Patrice Enders, 38, disappeared from her workplace during daylight hours on April 15, Tamber's Trim and Tan in Cumming, Ga.

"He is a person of interest at this time" the detective said of Jones.

A witness told authorities that a man fitting Jones' description was seen getting into a white van and driving away from the tanning salon about the time that Enders was last seen.

The witness provided information for a composite sketch of the man, Burndrett said.

Burch said Forsyth County deputies traveled to Mobile County shortly after Jones was arrested and showed the sketch to him. According to Burch, Jones denied any involvement in Enders' disappearance.

Burndrett said his office began investigating Jones after getting word of two unsolved homicides in Douglas County, Ga. A woman and a 15-year-old girl were found slain there.

He said investigators will be looking at Jones' work records and other paperwork that could place him in Forsyth and Douglas counties when Enders vanished and the woman and girl were killed.

Jones fled from Oklahoma in November 2000 after a warrant charging him with rape by instrumentation and sodomy was issued, Miami Police Chief Gary Anderson said Wednesday.

Miami is a city of about 13,500 people, which is located about 30 miles from Joplin, Mo., Anderson said. The town is in Oklahoma's extreme northeast corner -- about 20 miles from Missouri and less than 15 miles from the Kansas border.

Three detectives from the New Orleans Police Department were in Mobile Tuesday questioning Jones about the unsolved slaying of woman there in February.

Below are some photos from the vigil for Patrice Endres on October 15, 2004. Today marks six months since Patrice was abducted from her private owned and operated hair salon. Friends and family gathered tonight to show their support for Patrice and to bring awareness that she is still out there and we have to continue searching till we find her.

Patrice's balloons in her favorite color purple. The ballons contained a laminated card that shows Patrice's information & numbers to call should the balloon fall into someone's yard who knows something.

The filming for this ended on Sept. 29th and I dunno why we cant get this on the air NOW

By MARCIA LANGHENRY
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Published on: 11/03/04

The story of a woman who disappeared from a Forsyth County salon six months ago has been taped for "America's Most Wanted," a television show that focuses on finding missing people and fugitives.

No date has been set for broadcast, but it probably will not be before December, said Avery Mann, program spokesman. The show airs at 9 p.m. Saturdays on Fox.

Scenes were shot last month at Tamber's Trim-N-Tan, the hair and tanning salon on Ga. 369 in northwest Forsyth owned and operated by Patrice Tamber Endres.

Endres, 38, vanished just before her noon appointment arrived on April 15.

A witness later gave authorities a description of a man and a cargo van she placed at the shop at the time, leading to an extensive search. The investigation has included interviews of more than 300 people and more than 700 leads.

Investigators from Forsyth County and several other jurisdictions hoped to find a link to unsolved crimes in their areas after a man was arrested in Mobile more than a month ago and charged with rape and murder.

Forsyth County Sheriff Ted Paxton said investigators went to Douglas County, where John Chapman was being considered a suspect in two unsolved murders. Chapman, a fugitive from Oklahoma, had lived in Douglas County when the murders occurred. Investigators hoped something in the case files or similarities of crimes would implicate Chapman in Endres' disappearance, he said.

"To date, we have not been able to find anything nor have we found anything to exclude him," Paxton said. "We are doing a rather extensive workup on him."

Paxton said Chapman was in the Roswell-Alpharetta area at one time for training by his employer.

“The program isn’t about me or the team its about the missing persons and their families we represent. Knowing we weren’t going to be part of the big show we knew we had to find someone who would represent us better then we could. That reminds me of something, we lost a friend John Baker a couple of years ago in a racing incident, Joe Herold was instrumental in honoring John with his efforts to bring the John Baker memorial event to life. That’s the kind of people we need to represent our program” Said Darrell LaMoure co-founder of the Racing for the Missing program.

Herold and team will have a larger then life image of a missing Georgia resident Patrice Tamber Endres on the hood of his Quality Chevrolet. Patrice disappeared on April 15, 2004 last seen near the 6100 block of Matt Hwy around 12:00pm. A newer model white Chevrolet or GMC van was seen by a witness during that time. Patrice is a white female five foot two inches tall, 125 pounds brown hair brown eyes dark complexioned, she wears contacts.

When Darrell asked Joe if he would be interested in running the program “ I couldn’t imagine how hard it must be for those families, I don’t know what we would do if we lost our daughter? It would be an honor what can I do” said Joe Herold

This Thursday, Joe, Barry O'Brien (crew chief) and their team start their pursuit for the crown jewel of the Elite division the “Toyota Shoot Out” It’s the equivalent to the Daytona 500 for these guys.
