xx Race car drawing attention to missing Forsyth...

IRWINDALE, CALIFORINA - A car that runs a NASCAR circuit in the Southwest has taken up the cause of missing adults and ran over the weekend with the picture of a missing Forsyth County woman emblazoned on its hood.

The National Center for Missing Adults teamed up with driver Joe Herold who runs in the NASCAR Elite Divisiion Auto Zone Southwest Series.

His car displayed a picture of Patrice Tamber Endres when it ran in races in Irwindale, California, Friday and Saturday.

Endres disappeared April 15th from her beauty salon on Matt Highway near Cumming and has not been heard from or seen since.

Today is Patrice's 39th birthday. I wanted to acknowledge Patrice's birthday and say that I hope answers are found soon for Patrice's whereabouts. She is loved and missed by many!!!

Instead of the conventional yellow rose I normally post, here is 12 purple roses in Patrice's favorite color.

It has been eight (8) months ago today that Patrice vanished from her private owned and operated hair salon. Other than this unfortunate anniversary date, the person of interest in her case, Jeremy Jones has been charged with another murder. This is the murder of Amanda Greenwell who was found murdered in Douglasville, GA. This is the area where Patrice lives, but not where she was abducted.

America's Most wanted STILL has not given us an air date on her story. They've told us that they are waiting on how to approach the broadcast in light of Jeremy Jones. We feel that if they'd go ahead and air the show that it might give us the lead to tie Jones to Patrice's disappearance if he's indeed involved. This is very frustrating for the family because they still seek answers. We are in the process of launching a letter and email campaign to America's Most wanted to push for this broadcast. Once Mr. Endres has completed the letter, I will post it so people can download it and simply mail it in. We have to keep fighting for Patrice.

xx Serial Suspect Denies Kidnappings

A suspected serial killer charged in a teenaged girl's murder in Douglasville, Ga., denied any involvement in the disappearance of two 16-year-old girls from Oklahoma.

Jeremy Jones, who had been living in Douglas County with a stolen identity, is originally from Ottawa County, Oklahoma. Authorities there have called him "a person of interest" in the December 1999 disappearance of Lauria Bible and Ashley Freeman. Freeman's parents were found shot to death in their burned mobile home.

Jones spoke with The Oklahoman from the county jail in Mobile, Ala. where he is being held on charges of murder, rape, burglary, and kidnapping in the death of an Alabama woman. Lisa Nichols had been shot in the head and her home set on fire. Jones told the reporter he was not involved in that case or the Oklahoma disappearances.

"I get blamed for every unsolved murder now," he said.

Earlier this month, authorities in Douglas County charged Jones in the murder of 16-year-old Amanda Greenwell. Authorities said Jones, who had stolen the identity of prison inmate John Paul Chapman, lived in the same neighborhood as Greenwell when she disappeared in March 2004.

Jones is also suspected in the death of Tina Mayberry, who was shot to death outside a nightclub in Douglasville on Halloween night of 2002. He is also being investigated in the disappearance of hair salon owner Patrice Endres in Forsyth County in April 2004, the same month Greenwell's body was discovered.

Authorities in Oklahoma, Missouri, and Arizona have added Jones to their list of suspects in the rapes and killings of several women in their states.

xx Authorities look for connection in disappearance
« Reply #39 on: Jan 14th, 2005, 07:10am »

UNDATED - Forsyth County investigators were in Mobile, Ala., Friday morning looking for a connection between a suspected serial killer in jail there and a missing Forsyth County hairdresser.

Detectives are trying to determine if Jeremy Jones is tied to the disappearance of Patrice Endres. She went missing about nine months ago, and police have been looking for clues.

Investigators think a sketch of the suspect and a picture of Jones are similar.

So far, Jones is charged in two murders, including the death of a 16 year old Douglas County, Georgia, girl. He's also considered a person of interest in several other murders across the country.

xx 'Person of interest' remains that only
« Reply #41 on: Jan 15th, 2005, 11:10pm »

Authorities hoping to link a suspected serial killer to the disappearance of a Forsyth County hairdresser so far have come up empty-handed.

Capt. Ron Freeman of the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said Friday that investigators continue to consider Jeremy Brian Jones, 31, a "person of interest" in the case. But after sharing information with authorities in Douglasville and Mobile, where Jones has been charged with murders, they cannot say whether Jones was in Forsyth County nine months ago when Patrice Tamber Endres vanished.

A television report Friday said Forsyth County detectives were in Mobile talking to Jones.

Freeman, who would neither confirm nor deny the report, said, "We have absolutely nothing new to release at this time."

Jones has been held in lieu of bail in Mobile since he was charged with the Sept. 18 rape and murder of 45-year-old Lisa Nichols of Turnerville, Ala. Since then, many law enforcement and media representatives have asked about possible connections to unsolved murders in Louisiana, Georgia and Oklahoma.

As a result, he also was charged with the April 2004 murder of a 16-year-old girl who lived next door to Jones in Douglasville when he went by the name of John Paul Chapman. Her body was found a month later along a rural road.

Forsyth County sheriff's investigators were among those comparing notes, hoping for a break.

Endres, now 39, disappeared from her salon in Matt, north of Cumming, at lunchtime April 15.

Despite a massive search, there has been no sign of Endres. A witness driving by at the time of the apparent abduction described a man she saw standing next to a van. A composite drawing of that suspect resembled Jones, fueling speculation.

While Endres' case is termed a "cold case," two investigators continue to track leads. In the past two months, Freeman said, a couple of new leads helped eliminate two people from a list of suspects.

A fugitive sex offender from Oklahoma, Jones also is considered a "person of interest" in the 1999 disappearance of two teenage girls and the deaths of four other people, including the parents of one of those girls who were found shot in their burning mobile home.

Alabama prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for Jones in the rape and murder of Nichols, whose body was found in her burning mobile home.

Friends and family of Endres continue to publicize her disappearance, holding vigils marking anniversaries and raising money for a reward fund, which now stands at about $17,000.

A crew from TV's "America's Most Wanted" visited the salon in September but has not broadcast the program. Endres' case is featured on the show's Web site.
