xx "Family Remembers Missing Loved Ones"

Tears and frustration marked an emotional milestone Saturday for a Robertson County family.

For the third year, family and friends sadly remembered Jennifer and Adrianna Wix.

Jennifer was 21-years-old and she and her two-year-old daughter went missing.

Balloons were specially prepared with an attached message to help find or find out why the mother and daughter went missing.

“We want everybody not to just see a white piece of paper hanging there… we want them to ask what is all that pink about?” said Kathy Holloway, who has struggled to bring attention to the disappearance of her missing daughter and...
...granddaughter.

Jennifer and Adrianna Wix had been living with her boyfriend and his family when they were last seen.

Holloway said, “One reason I knew that Jennifer did not run away is that Elmo was here and Adrianna… precious little thing… slept with this Elmo every single night.”

Within the last week, new speculation about the missing mother and daughter came from Robertson County investigators.

Jennifer Wix was Peggy Calvert's first grandchild and Adrianna, her first great-grandchild.

The family has its theories about what happened but three years ago but Saturday was more about remembering twoloved ones than showing frustration with the investigation.

As the balloons were released, the family hopes they might bring back answers.

Calvert said, “When they announced that its homicide or possible dead, it’s bad it’s not a good thing we have been through so, so much. The day we filed her as missing I knew there was foul play I am not afraid to tell you the sheriff or anybody that's our feeling, we know her.”

The Robertson County Sheriff's office has long acknowledged the family's frustration, but investigators said they too have been frustrated by lack of evidence, and lack of witnesses coming forward.
