xx DNA COLLECTED

Thanks to BC Police, DNA has been collected from Traceys biological mother and father and will be entered into CODIS. Tracey will never become a cold case now. I urge any person knowing of a missing person to ask the Detectives working the case if DNA has been collected and if so has it been entered into CODIS. If they don't know, push for the Detectives to collect this right away and have it sent to The North Texas FBI Lab which has no waiting list and this is a free service.

Jun 19, 2009 2:22 pm US/Eastern Man Accused Of Killing Wife Remains In Jail Reporting
Mike Schuh TOWSON, Md (WJZ)
Dennis Tetso is accused of killing his wife.

Tracey Gardner-Tetso Search Continues Years Later
Four years after Tracey Tetso vanished her husband is charged with her murder.

Mike Schuh reports her family had an emotional reaction to the new developments.

It's the announcement Tracey Tetso's family had been waiting to hear for four years.

Police arrest and charge someone in her murder, and the person they say committed the murder is her husband, Dennis.

Tracey Tetso's body has never been found.

The county or any jurisdiction rarely will issue an indictment unless there is a body, but the evidence in the case was strong enough to have a Baltimore County grand jury vote to have her husband Dennis Tetso stand trial for her murder.

Tracey's mom prayed every night that the body of her daughter would be found.

Now she hopes the man being held in Baltimore County's Detention Center, Dennis will be the one who leads her there.

"I heard it from the detective, yesterday when they called me, and said they had arrested him and charged him with the murder for Tracey," said Cathy Gardner, Tracey's mother.

She went on to say the first thing she said was, "Thank God, Thank God."

Then Gardner says she called Tracey's father at work and he had the same reaction.

Four years ago Tracey was set to go to a Motley Crue show in Washington, D.C.

Hours after it started her car is photographed going southbound through the Harbor tunnel, and then is seen at a hotel in Glen Burnie.

Tracey never makes it to the show and is never heard from again.

On Monday a Baltimore County grand jury indicts Tracey's husband Dennis for murder.

Cathy Gardner went on to say, "I have no doubts, that that is the right person," when asked if she believed the right person had been arrested and charged with her daughter's death.

"Unfortunately, we don't have Tracey. So there's a lot of evidence we don't have, but we do have some physical evidence. We have a lot of circumstantial evidence," said Cpl. Mike Hill, Baltimore County Police spokesperson.

When asked what justice looked like for her Gardner responded, "I'm going to be a little on the selfish side. My feeling is an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth."

Sometime during the trial it's hoped that a mother's prayers are answered.

The posters and the searches didn't do it, but hopefully court testimony her family hopes will lead them to find her body.

"My hopes are that, we can finally bring her home and put her to rest properly," adds Gardner.

Authorities previously believed that DennisTetso's bail review hearing would be held on Friday.

The hearing will instead take place at Baltimore County Circuit Court at 1 p.m. on Monday.
