Patrice Endres has been missing today for five months. I wanted to acknowledge her today and say what a great job Ms. Nancy Grace did with her presentation of Patrice's story yesterday afternoon on Closing Arguements.

Thinking of Patrice, and her family today and all other days.

WHERE'S PATRICE ENDRES?
700 leads, 5 months, 1 mystery

By MARCIA LANGHENRY
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Published on: 09/17/04
That morning, when Patrice Endres arrived at her salon — Tamber's Trim-N-Tan — she seemed upbeat, much as she always did, customers recalled.

About 11:45, she walked to the back room and put her lunch in the microwave that shares space with a washer and dryer, refrigerator, coffeemaker, Redken shampoo and rods for shaping permanent waves.

But minutes later when her noon appointment arrived, the Forsyth County salon was empty.
Out front, Endres' car was out of place, parked at an odd angle. Her purse and car keys were on a desk. The cash drawer was out and the money was gone.
So was Patrice.
In the five months since she vanished, investigators have received hundreds of leads, and the TV show "America's Most Wanted" has expressed interest in the case.

Darrell LeMoure, driver for Racing for the Missing featured Patrice on his hood on July 31, 2004. I wanted to post this picture for everyone to see. LeMoure is a very kind person to sponsor his car to help missing people. There is a list of people waiting to be featured on the hood. This is a very cool thing. Lemoure has featured other missing people such as Rachel Cooke, Kent Jacobs and Audrey Herron.

xx Search For Patrice Goes National

Missing woman's search goes national
From Staff Reports
Wednesday, September 22, 2004

Since her disappearance in April, friends and family of Patrice Tamber Endres have used many methods to search for the Forsyth County woman.

The newest effort involves a voluntary program of over-the-road truckers.

A national missing person's locator program, 18 Wheel Angels, is spearheaded by a nonprofit organization, Project Jason. The program enlists the aid of truck drivers and business travelers to place posters of missing persons along their routes as they travel across the country. Participants are asked to go to the 18 Wheel Angels link on the Project Jason Web site at www.projectjason.org, and download and print as many posters as they can place. Anyone can participate.

Patrice Endres' campaign began on Sept. 16 and will run through Sept. 30.

In addition to the 18 Wheel Angels campaign, Project Jason had added Endres to its Adopt a Missing Person program. Endres' family sent buttons to the organization to have available for people across the country to mail in and request. The person who adopts Patrice also will be mailed an information card, which contains a bio and personal information about Patrice.

Project Jason was founded by Kelly Jolkowski, mother of missing Omaha, Neb., youth Jason Jolkowski.

Jolkowski said that she devotes full-time hours to the project, in addition to working a full-time job.

"I'm always on the Internet looking for new candidates," she said. "Then, I attempt contact with their family and offer our services to them."

The program began in mid-January and features two missing persons per month. More than 7,000 posters have been printed and distributed since the start.

Jolkowski said that while the posters have yet to generate a lead, it continues to keep the missing person's face in the public.

"The success is getting their face out there as many times as you can. The program also gives the family hope by letting them know that people care."

In addition to placing the posters in truck stops and businesses, some owner-operators have posted the photos on their vehicles.

The all volunteer group's mission is to create and increase public awareness of missing people through a variety of outreach and educational activities. Project Jason seeks to bring hope and assistance to families of the missing by providing resources and support.

Endres, 38, has been missing since April 15. She operated Tamber's Trim-N-Tan hair salon on Hwy. 369 in north Forsyth, where she was last seen helping a customer at about 11:35 a.m. She was reported missing 10 minutes later. Endres' car, purse and wallet were left behind, but the salon's cash was missing, according to Forsyth County authorities.

xx Suspected Killer Registered Offender

Today there has been a man who has been arrested in possible connection with several disappearances and murders in the surrounding area where Patrice Endres lives. While nothing is confirmed at all yet, they are looking at possible connections to her case because all of this man's victims are dark haired small petite women, very similar to Patrice Endres. Please read over this article and see these ladies photos and how the are similar to Patrice. I am posting this after a phone call from 11 Alive this morning. There NO CONFIRMED connection to the Endres case YET, but it is being looked at.

A suspected serial killer used an alias because he was a registered sex offender and was wanted on charges in Oklahoma.

Police in Douglas County, Ga., Wednesday asked for the public's help in identifying several women whose pictures were found in the possession of a suspected serial killer.

Jeremy Brian Jones, 31, is charged with the rape and murder of 44-year-old Lisa Nichols near Mobile, Ala., last month. Jones is suspected in the March 2003 disappearance of Melinda McGhee of Escambia County, Ala.

Jones has also been questioned in connection with the murders of two women in Douglasville, Ga. and is a suspect in more than a dozen unsolved murders.

Detectives from Alabama and Douglas County have been comparing notes on Jones, and have been sharing them with investigators from several states, including Tennessee, Arkansas, Arizona, California, and Oklahoma. He is currently in an Alabama jail.

“I believe he is a serial killer. The evidence and the facts that will show up in the next few weeks will either prove or disprove that, but if you’re asking me what my belief is, then, yes, I believe he is a serial killer and a serial rapist,” said Douglas County Sheriff Phil Miller.

Photos Released
Authorities released pictures of eight unnamed women Wednesday. The photos were found in Jones' possession. [See Photos] Investigators want to track down the women and confirm their whereabouts.

"The fact that he had these pictures of females in his possession concerns us about the identities of these females and their whereabouts," Miller said.

Jones lived in Douglas County periodically for the past several years. Authorities found the pictures while searching one of Jones' storage units in Douglas County. Another discovery in that storage unit may tie Jones' to the murder of a Douglasville woman.

Jones Suspected in Death of Teen
For some of his time in Douglas County, Jones lived with a woman who never knew his real name.

"I lived with this man for a year and a half and never in my wildest dreams would I imagine he would be capable of this until they called and told me he wasn't even who he said he was," Vicki Freeman told 11Alive News.

Freeman said she now knows the man she knew as John Chapman is Jones. Freeman remembers that Jones came home from a methamphetamine binge covered in mud and scratches last March. The same day, 16-year-old Amanda Greenwell disappeared from a Douglasville mobile home park where they lived. The teen's body was found a month later.

A search of Jones' rental storage unit turned up a ring that had been in Jones' possession. The ring has been identified as Amanda Greenwell's by her boyfriend.

xx Police Probe Forsyth Case for Link 10-7-04
« Reply #8 on: Oct 7th, 2004, 11:42am »

11Alive News has learned that police are looking into a possible connection between a disappearance in Forsyth County and a suspected serial killer.

Patrice Tamber Endres, a business owner and mother, disappeared from her hair salon in Cumming, Ga., in April 2004. Police are investigating whether Jeremy Brian Jones, 31, could be connected to Endres' disappearance.

Jones is charged with the rape and murder of 44-year-old Lisa Nichols near Mobile, Ala., last month. Jones is suspected in the March 2003 disappearance of Melinda McGhee of Escambia County, Ala., as well as two more cases in Georgia.

The sheriff’s department and federal officials have put together a detailed timeline of Endres’ life on Thursday morning except for the 16 minutes before noon that they say she was likely abducted.

In April, sheriff's deputies released the description of a possible suspect in Endres disappearance. The suspect was described as a white man in his late 30s or early 40s, standing approximately six feet tall and weighing 180 pounds. He was driving a white passenger van.

There is a $17,000 reward in the Endres case.

Anyone with information that may help police is being asked to call the Forsyth County sheriff’s office at (770) 781-2222

Apparently he is charged with one murder of Lisa Nichols and they have found these pictures in his possession and are asking the public for their help in finding out who they are and if there is a possibility they are dead because of him. I'll post the pictures and then one of Patrice. This man took a woman near where Patrice used to live and that coupled with the fact these women all bare a stricking resemblence makes us a little more uneasy.

CUMMING - Forsyth County authorities are taking a closer look at a suspected serial killer to see if he's responsible for the possible murder of a missing woman in their county.

Patrice Endres disappeared from her Cumming hair salon in April.

Sheriff Ted Paxton appeared on Fox News Thursday night.

"We are very interested in Mr. Jones and his movements, his timeline, and are currently doing a lot of work to see if we can raise some suspicion whether or not he may be involved," Paxton said.

Jeremy Jones is jailed in Alabama, already a suspect in two Douglas County, Georgia murders.

"So many of these victims, and also the photographs of these other unknown women have a striking resemblance in physical appearance," Paxton said.
