xx Jennifer & Adrianna Wix - Mar. 25, 2004 - TN
« Thread started on: Sep 10th, 2004, 1:26pm »

Exerpt from Wix Website:

On Wednesday evening March 24, 2004, Jennifer called me very upset about a situation in the home where she lived with her boyfriend and his parents. We spoke on the phone for about an hour, she told me that she loved me and that she would call tomorrow. I have not heard from her yet. She called her Father and her Aunt on Thursday and voiced to them the concerns she had over her living conditions. On Friday, I could not get her off my mind all day at work, when I arrived home I tried to contact her and learned that she was gone. Her boyfriend told the family that he and Jenn had argued on Thursday evening and that he took her to the interstate exit nearby, (I-65 N exit 112). He told us that she asked him to leave but he decided to pull across the street and make sure she was meeting someone. She waited for five or ten minutes and then got into the backseat of a white four door car. He was very vague in the description of the automobile and said he did not see the person in the car or which direction they went. His statement is that Jennifer returned to his home on Friday afternoon, without Adrianna, driving the car she had gotten into the night before for her income tax return that was to be in that day. His parents were not home to give her the money so she left and said she would return on Saturday to get it. To my knowledge she has not returned for it. On Saturday, March 27, 2004 when she did not return we reported Jennifer and Adrianna missing. Jennifer has no car, no money, and did not take any clothes or personal items with her. There is an open police investigation and the detectives suspect no foul play.

xx Seach Continues for Missing Mom, Child
« Reply #3 on: Oct 7th, 2004, 9:54pm »

Six months later, the search continues for a missing Robertson County woman and her 2-year-old daughter.

Robertson County sheriff officials searched the area for Jennifer Wix, 21, and responded to hundreds of leads.

On March 26, Wix and her child disappeared from the Springfield area.

“It’s hard to admit but after six months I feel like foul play could have happened,” said Kathy Holloway, Wix’s mother.

Robertson County Sheriff’s Department Lt. Don Bennett said, “All the evidence in the case we've gathered and all the interviews, which have been hundreds, that we've conducted there is simply no indication that foul play is involved. All indications say Jennifer took her daughter and left on her own free will.”

Detectives said they have not completely ruled out foul play and they continue to investigate the case every day.

Anyone with information in the case should call police at (931) 384-7971

While visiting a local Wal-mart store today, I saw Jennifer & Adrianna listed on the alert board. We are a couple of hundred miles away from where they vanished, so this is good to see that they are being circulated this far South. Thinking of Jennifer & Adrianna and hoping they are found soon.

Also, hoping that Kathy is able to get one of those passwords to work to get on smiley

Oh, Thank Goodness that their pictures are getting out! I am so happy to hear this.

Thanks for getting me fixed on the board and thank you so much for posting for Jenn and Nina.

Unfortuantly there is no news on the girls, it just seems to get harder by the day.

Kathy,
I have put a sticky on Jennifer and Nina's thread because this case has more urgency in my mind due to the fact there is two people together who are missing. She will remain on this board until she is found.
I was glad to see that our local Wal-mart had them on the board. Many people visit Walmart and see these faces. I just wish that there was more publication for adults with this service that they use. Thinking of you and the girls always.

xx Family, friends pray for a Christmas miracle
« Reply #9 on: Dec 22nd, 2004, 11:35pm »

Christmas is the most wonderful season of all. It is the season of perpetual hope and miracles and for Jennifer Wix’s family, a Christmas miracle would be the most wonderful gift of all.

Christmas Eve will mark exactly nine months to the day since anyone saw or heard from Jennifer or her little two-year-old daughter, Adrianna.

In hopes of a Christmas miracle, the Wix family, along with other family and friends gathered at the Owens Chapel United Methodist Church last Tuesday night to “pray for a miracle.”

“If God can lead Mary and Joseph safely to Bethlehem for such a miraculous birth, I have to believe that God has the power to lead my girls home,” said Kathy Holloway, Jennifer’s mother, during the candlelight service in the frigid temperatures. “I also have to believe that, if for whatever reason my girls can’t make it safely back home to be with us, God will send us some answers as to where they are and put an end to this nightmare. That is all I want for Christmas.”

The vigil was held just across the street and down from the place where Jennifer was last seen.

“I just felt like I wanted to be as close to her as I possibly and physically could,” Holloway said through tears. “This is the best I can do since this is the last recorded place anybody saw her.”

Jennifer and Adrianna were reportedly last seen Wednesday, March 24. Lt. Don Bennett with the Sheriff’s Office has repeatedly stated that there is no evidence of foul play in the case but that he is following up on any leads that surface.

Bennett is currently looking into a lead involving Jennifer, but he says he cannot verify anything at this point.

“I don’t have enough information yet that I can confirm,” he said Monday.

The group held candles of hope that struggled to stay lit as the freezing wind blew with its icy chill on those who sang and prayed. There were carols sung and even a book that could be signed to tell the family, and Jennifer, how much they were loved.

Personal friends of Jennifer’s family, Faye Partee and Billy Pugh, led the gathering in songs. Although the gathering in the strong north wind was small, it sounded like a group of angels as all who were there prayed with the belief that there is strength in numbers and hoping against hope that their prayers would bring Jennifer and little Adrianna walking straight through the crowd.
There would be no better gift that this family could receive than to know what has happened to the girls.
“I just can’t stand the thoughts of not knowing where they are,” said Holloway. “My biggest fear is that everyone will just forget them, but my girls are still out there somewhere and our family has to have closure to this ordeal. If is not meant for them to come home to us, we at least need to know where they are.”
If you have any information at all that would help to give this family the Christmas miracle they are seeking, please call the Robertson County Sheriff’s Department at 384-7971. There is a $15,000 reward offered for information leading to Jennifer’s and Adrianna’s safe return or location.

xx Wix Kids on Missing Children Mailout This Week
« Reply #13 on: Jan 28th, 2005, 3:39pm »

Today when checking the office PO Box, I got our usual mail and the cards that are sent out by Missing & Exploited Children. THis week's featured person is Jennifer & Adrianna Wix. I felt good to see their faces being sent out in the mail to so many people, but it made me sad that they are still missing. Their mom loves those two girls more than you all could ever know. I hope so much that this weeks card with their face will generate some much needed leads in this case.
